Satpol PP personnel controlled 10 pedicabs in Pademangan Sub-district, North Jakarta during a raid, Monday (1/18).
It is based on the bylaw that pedicab is prohibited in Jakarta
Musa Safrudin, Pademangan Sub-district Head, said the raid must be held since the pedicabs were back to operate.
About 25 Satpol PP personnel were deployed to control pedicabs which violate Bylaw No. 8/2007 about Public Order. According to the bylaw, pedicab is prohibited to operate in the capital.
4 Pedicabs in Johar Baru Netted“It is based on the bylaw that pedicab is prohibited in Jakarta,” he said.
He added that the raid will still be held until no more pedicab operate around Pademangan.
“Only Ancol Urban Village which is free from pedicab,” he added.
