Jakarta DPRD Wants Each Island to Have Water Management System

We want each island to have standalone system

The fulfillment of clean water is still a problem in some islands in Seribu Islands. Therefore, Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) instructed the government to set up a water management infrastructure in the island. By so, it will no longer depend on the supply of land.

Vice Chief of Jakarta DPRD, Muhammad Taufik disclosed, to fulfill the water, it is hoped each island may have a standalone system. It means to reduce dependence on the supply of land.

"We want each island to have standalone system," he expressed, during discussion of draft bylaw article about spatial planning plane on Jakarta North Beach, Wednesday (1/19).

Additionally, the existing utility in the island should no longer on the ground. All should be set in a plot that is not chaotic.

"There must be a concept thus make it more orderly and tidy," he finished.
