Mubaligh must Be Active to Prevent Terrorism

The city administration wants the mubaligh (Islamic preacher) in the capital to play an active role anticipate understand terrorism. Moreover, many terrors in the name of Islam happens lately.

"I don't want bomb terror in Sarinah happens again. We need mubaligh's role, especially for Jakartans," expressed Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat, after he met with Caretaker of Indonesia Mubaligh Coordination Board, Thursday (1/21).

Chairman of Indonesia Mubaligh Coordination Board (Bakomubin) disclosed his side deliberately asked permission from the city administration to hold induction in the Great Hall and can be attended by relevant officials.

He also asked Jakarta Vice Governor to become a Chairman of the Boards of Supervision for Jakarta Mubaligh.

"We are here to ask permission where the mubaligh induction to be held in Great Hall," he told.

He argued, from 28 mubaligh caretakers in every province, 23 council province chairmen are from one of regional heads in Jakarta.
