36 Tons Trash Transported from Cakung Drain River

North Jakarta Sub-dept. of Cleanliness transported 36 tons of trash from Cakung Drain river. Six trucks were deployed to transport the trash.

One truck carried 6 tons

“One truck carried 6 tons,” said Slamet Riyadi, head of the agency, Tuesday (1/26).

According to him, the trash were transported from the river along 100 meter. Mostly the trash are dominated with shell.

Seribu Islands Residents Urged to Be Active in Trash Cleaning

“The river was never been cleaned for years,” he added.

He continued that the cleaning project should be assisted with excavator. In fact, the road condition is unable for personnel to deploy the excavator. About 120 joint personnel of PPSU and freelancer were finally deployed.
