150 pump houses in Jakarta will be equipped with Closed Circuit Television (CCTV). It is aimed to ease water level monitoring.

“It’s our concept to install camera at pump house, including sluice gate. But the authority is in Dept. of Communication, Informatics and Public Relation,” said Teguh Hendrawan, Jakarta Head Dept. of Water Management, Monday (2/1).
According to him, there are only 12 pump houses out of 150 already have CCTV. Those are Manggarai Pump House, Pluit Reservoir, Melati Reservoir, Setiabudi Timur and Setiabudi Barat Reservoir.
