I’ve asked a few people, and there is optimism to vote this year ,” said Basuki after casting his vote at polling station (TPS) 67, RW 14, Pluit Urban Village, Penjaringan Sub-District, North Jakarta.Basuki and his wife, Veronica Tan, cast their votes at TPS 67 at around 10.30 AM.
“Actually, I wanted to vote early, but I was informed that my schedule was at 10 AM,” he told.
When being asked about his choice, Basuki only mentioned LUBER, which is election’s principle that stands for direct, general, free, and confidential.
“I already knew who I should vote before going here (to TPS). I chose all of them (legislative candidates),” he joked.
Meanwhile, Pluit Urban Village Election Committee (KPPS) Chairwoman, Lenny Wijaya, told that 423 residents are registered in the final voters list (DPT) to cast their votes in TPS 67. That amount consists of 194 male voters and 229 female voters who live in RT 08, 09, 10, and 11 of RW 14, Pluit Urban Village.
“Overall, there are 38,782 residents registered in DPT to cast their votes in 96 TPSs in Pluit Urban Village,” she finished.
