Semi permanent buildings on Jalan Kramat Kwitang Kecil, Kwitang Urban Village, Senen, Central Jakarta, were dismantled due to standing above water channel.

Munjir Munaji, Senen Sub-district Head, admitted that his side had warned the residents by giving socialization and letter. In fact, the residents ignored the warning.

“We totally dismantled 18 buildings standing above water channel,” he said, Wednesday (2/3).

Hundreds of Buildings in Kapuk Demolished

As many as 42 joint personnel from Satpol PP, Sub-dept. of City Cleanliness, Sub-dept. of Water Management, Army, and Police were deployed to smooth the effort.
