He explains the delay occurs when the process of relocating the residents to the apartment. Thus during rainy season, the flood could no longer put up the floodgates.

According to him, if the sluice was set up, Kampung Pulo would be free from flood. "If the pump is installed permanently, flood will gone despite there is no sluice," he expressed.
Temporarily, to reduce overflowing waters of Ciliwung River, his party has installed a sheet pile.
