Jakarta Vice Governor, Djarot Saiful Hidayat lamented, there are still many officials who cannot communicate well with members of the press. Criticism of the press, addressed to officials could be positive input.

"As long as the criticism is positive, don't be angry. For me, this is vitamin and medicine," he exclaimed, Friday (2/5).

According to him, they should not be upset when responding to criticism from the media. Because media can also strengthen the countries’s democratic and enlighten the information to the public.

"Press is strengthening democracy and enlighten the society, thus we have a strong personality. It challenges ahead," he stated.

Accordingly, he continued, official and community can make the media as a source of news.
