Gembrong Market underpass, East Jakarta was inundated after rain poured on Saturday (2/6). Damaged stationary pump had caused this problem.
Temporary allegedly that pump was damage due to cable failure
Puddle occurred at 6 PM to 9 PM on road from Gembrong Market towards Kampung Melayu. The water level was 30-50 cm. The vice versa road condition was normal.
East Jakarta Mayor, Bambang Musyawardana, directly deployed 50 joint personnel from Satpol PP, Sub-dept. of Fire Handling and Rescue, Sub-dept. of Water Management and PPSU. They were assigned to uncover the manhole to ease the water flow.
