51 Vendors of Kramat Jati Occupy New Kiosk

As many as 51 street vendors from ex-guidance location (lokbin) at Jalan Nusa 1, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta took raffle number yesterday, Tuesday (2/9). The raffle number is to occupy new kiosks.

Lokbin was abolished but they must remain accommodated thus not return to the roadside

According to Irwandi, Head of Jakarta Small and Medium Enterprises Cooperatives Department (KUMKMP), raffle number is conducted in order to anticipate conflict among street vendors.

"Lokbin was abolished but they must remain accommodated thus not return to the roadside. That's why the ex-lokbin is renovated and transformed into hangar model," he expressed, Tuesday (2/9).

Hundreds Kiosks to Be Set Up at Ex-Gg Laler

He assessed, the renovation took at least three months by spending Rp 800 million. Lokbin was deliberately made in hangar model and open thus can be supervised easily. It is different with kiosk.
