Cengkareng General Hospital (RSUD), West Jakarta adds bed capacity in anticipation of an increase in patient cases of dengue fever (DBD).

Cengkareng RSUD Public Relation, Agung Rusyana said his side adds 10 beds from existing 360 beds or totally reaching 370 beds. His side also provides five veltbeds in IGD room.
“Totally, there are 20 beds available in IGD room,” he told, Friday (2/12).

“That’s why we add the bed in the hospital as medical handling,” he expressed.
He stated, the increase in the number of dengue fever patients in Cengkareng RSUD has an impact on the use of intravenous fluids and blood bags needs.
“But, blood stock is still safe. So far there has been no surge in its stock for transfusion purposes of dengue fever patient," he finished.
