Hundreds of police personnel are deployed to control Kalijodo. North Jakarta Resort Police Chief, Com. Pol. Daniel Bolly Tifaona, said his side will hold Cipta Kondisi Operation before controlling Kalijodo.

The operation target is sharp weapons, drugs, gambling and prostitution.

“Operation is started this week by deploying 250 joint personnel from Satpol PP Kodim, and ours,” he said, Monday (2/15).

Meanwhile, City Police Public Relation, Com. Pol. Mohammad Iqbal, admitted that his side has investigated the problem in Kalijodo.

“Investigation and mapping have been done. We must prevent unwanted things from this place,” he admitted.

The operation which is mostly held in North Jakarta, will be also held in West Jakarta. North Jakarta Administration will also hold population operation in Kalijodo. It will be held by Satpol PP.
