Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama assessed the performance of Jakarta Park and Cemetery Dept does not maximal in term of tree handling. Hence, he hands over the duty to PPSU officer.

Park Dept performance is not good. Whereas I have warned them. So I instruct PPSU officer to take over its duty (tree handling)

It is because fallen tree case always handled by PPSU. Nevertheless, he assessed, they still need more equipment to optimize the performance

"Some still need additional equipment. We will do purchase this month," he told.

If it was purchased, PPSU could prune trees prone to fall, especially old trees.

"Those who already have complete equipment, they should know which trees that must be pruned. Thus fallen tree could be minimized," he expressed.
