21,818 SMA/SMK Students in West Jakarta to Take National Exam

As many as 21,818 students of state and private senior high school (SMA) and vocational school (SMK) in West Jakarta will take the 2014 National Exam (UN). All of UN participants are targeted 100 percent pass and defend Jakarta’s first rank.

“This year we are targeting 100 percent graduation of SMA and SMK students. We’re also targeting to maintain first rank of graduation level in Jakarta,” stated Head of West Jakarta Middle Education Sub-Department, Slamet Widodo, Thursday (4/10).

Widodo informed that from a total of 21,818 UN participants, 9,089 are state and private SMA students, 12,607 are state and private SMK students, and 122 are students from senior high school for disabled (SLB).

119,879 SMA/SMK Students to Undergo National Exam

“Those students are from 106 state and private senior high schools as well as 120 state and private vocational schools in West Jakarta,” he told.

This year, UN implementation is divided into rayon 6 in SMAN 2, rayon 7 in SMAN 33, rayon 8 in SMAN 112, rayon 9 in SMKN 13, and rayon 10 in SMKN 42. While for West Jakarta, UN materials will be kept in SMAN 78 before being distributed to all schools.
