82 Kalijodo Citizens Register for Flat Relocation

As many as 82 residents living in RT 07/10 Kalijodo, Angke Urban Village have registered for relocation at Handling Post that located on parking lot of Tambora Sub-district Office, West Jakarta, Thursday (2/18).

This is evidence that residents are willing to be relocated

Relaying on Beritajakarta.com's data, officers from some related units are sent to serve residents in registration process, starting from Education Sub-dept, Social Sub-dept, Housing Sub-dept, Urban Village and Sub-district. Yet there is no representative from West Jakarta Manpower and Transmigration Sub-dept. 

Tambora Sub-district Head, Djaharudin disclosed those 82 residents are from 86 households that have registered to get the flat key. 

Police Personnel Only Secures Kalijodo Arrangement

"This is evidence that residents are willing to be relocated," he expressed, Thursday (2/18).

He furthered those decided to stay at the same flat. But his side will discuss it first with Jakarta Housing and Government Building Dept.

His side is optimistic they can be relocated to Pulogebang Flat.

"Based on the initial information, in Pulogebang Flat, there are still hundreds of empty units thus we can accommodate them there," he disclosed.
