Kalijodo Arrangement, A Postponed Agenda

Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama, uttered Kalijodo arrangement has been planned since 2014 ago. In fact, the plan was postponed since Jakarta Provincial Government focused on Pluit Reservoir and Kampung Pulo relocation.

Previously, Jakarta Provincial Government arranged Kampung Pulo because of Ciliwung River normalization project. The residents were relocated to Jatinegara Barat flat.

“Kalijodo is not about prostitution. I have to take back the government’s land for green open space. Prostitution in Kalijodo is our second problem,” he added.
