A Transjakarta bus B 7432 IV was caught on fire, precisely at the engine on Jalan HBR Motik, Gunung Sahari Urban Village, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, Monday (2/22). There was no casualty reported in the incident.
Allegedly it is triggered by electricity short-circuit of air conditioning (AC)'s cable
Chief of Public Relation Sub-Division, Central Jakarta Resort Police, Sr. Comr. Suyatno said, the incident happened when the bus was picking up passenger at Kemayoran Bus Stop. After arriving in Kodim Flyover, smoke came out from the rear of the engine.
"Bus driver then immediately stops the bus and evacuate 50 passengers. It happened at around 12.45 PM," he stated, Monday (2/22).
Fire Gutted Honda Accord in SenenAfter being evacuated, the officer arrived and immediately put out the flames at the rear of the engine.
