Channel on Jalan Marunda Baru III Dredged
Water channel along Jalan Raya Pejagalan, Pekojan, Tambora, West Jakarta is still being normalized. It is targeted to be complete in a week.
West Jakarta Water Management Sub-dept Head, Imron said, from overall length 470 meters, around 200 of them are covered by sheet pile (inrit). Hence, before dredging, it will be demolished first.
"Normalization is carried out to follow up public complaint. After inrit, we will dredge the whole channel," he expressed, Monday (2/22).
He added, after that, the channel along the road must not be closed. But it should be coordinated with urban village side first and be equipped with a control tub.
