This Year, 8 Schools in C. Jakarta Renovated

This year, eight schools will be renovated. It is done to create comfortable for students during learning and teaching activities (KBM)

Central Jakarta Region 1 Education Sub-dept is about to renovate eight schools this year. Seven out of them will be renovated with heavy level and another one with medium level.

Head of Central Jakarta Region 1 Education Sub-dept, Sujadiyono disclosed, school renovation will be carried out in Tanah Abang, Sawah Besar and Menteng Sub-depts. These areas were prioritized because many buildings are in damage condition.

2014 APBD Amendment was Intended for School Renovation

"This year, eight schools will be renovated. It is done to create comfortable for students during learning and teaching activities (KBM)," he stated, Monday (2/22).

Those seven schools are SD 15 and 16 Karet Tengsin, SMPN 38 at Jalan Abdul Latif, Tanah Abang, SDN 81, 05 and 08 Karang Anyar, SMPN 5 at Jalan Dr Sutomo, SMAN 1 Budi Utomo, SMKN 1 Budi Utomo, Sawah Besar and SDN 03 Jalan Cilacap, Menteng, and SDN 07 Kampung Bali Tanah Abang.

"At this time, it is still under auction process," he expressed.

During renovation, the student will be relocated to nearest school temporarily.

"I hope it can be complete within four months, thus KBM can run as usual," he finished.
