As many as 270 joint personnel of Satpol PP, army, police, Water Management Sub-dept, Bina Marga Sub-dept, Cleanliness Sub-dept, Park and Cemetery Sub-dept as well as other units held a ceremony on Cipinang Riverbank, Cipinang Besar Selatan, Jatinegara, East Jakarta, Tuesday (2/23) morning. The ceremony is related to controlling against 97 illegal buildings along Jalan Raya Kalimalang.

Those buildings will be controlled due to standing on land belongs to PT Jasa Tirta

Mayor of East Jakarta, Bambang Musyawardana disclosed, controlling is done because the existing land will be used for road widening and constructing Bekasi, Cawang, Kampung Melayu (Becakayu) toll road.  

"Those buildings will be controlled due to standing on land belongs to PT Jasa Tirta," he expressed.
