Kalijodo Citizens Began Dismantling Their Buildings

Citizen of Kalijodo RW 05, Pejagalan Urban Village, Penjaringan Sub-district, North Jakarta began to demolish their buildings.

Based on Beritajakarta.com observation, citizen began to cannibalize one by one part of the building, such as triplex, wood, zinc, asbestos, door, window and other items.

One of them is a cafe plus Wisma Hero that is located at RT 01/05. In the field, six workers are demolishing two-story buildings by cannibalizing asbestos and wood and plywood used as a room divider.

"I demolish my home by myself. Then for passable building materials, will be used when I moved later," said a supervisor of Hero Cafe, Tuesday (2/23).

Then Makmur (51), another citizen of RT 01/05. He admitted, he has no Jakarta ID card, despite he has lived 10 years in Kalijodo.

"So, I will stay at my brother's home in Teluk Gong," he finished.
