Based on Beritajakarta.com, puddle as high as 10 centimeters and 20 meters long has inundated Jalan RE Mardinata. This is because water does not flow into channel that is on the roadside. This makes passing motorists choose to pass the lane that is next to the road.
Four Roads Still Inundated
Firman, (38), a public minivan driver said that puddle came out at around 10.30 AM.
"Rain just lasted approximately one hour. It caused water cannot flow smoothly into the channel," he told, Wednesday (2/24).
Tanjung Priok Urban Village Head, Ma'mun expressed, his side has repeatedly dredged the channel and the gutter along the road.
"Channel is full of water when rain poured. But I believe puddle will not last long," he finished.
