Due to standing on water channel, as much as 77 joint personnel of Satpol PP, army, police, PPSU, and freelancer of Water Management and Cleanliness Dept tore down 65 illegal buildings on Jalan Keamanan Raya, Keagungan Urban Village, Taman Sari Sub-district. 

Demolishment runs smoothly without protest

Taman Sari Sub-district Head, Paris Limbong said, prior to demolishment, his side had done socialization and warning letter to the building owner. But it was ignored.

"Demolishment runs smoothly without protest," he expressed, Wednesday (2/24).

Keagungan Urban Village Head, Imbang Santoso added, post-demolishment, his side will refunction the channel along Jalan Keamanan Raya. The whole mud and debris will be dredged.

"Mud in the channel will be dredged to anticipate inundation and flooding," he finished.
