ERP Socialization Conducted One Year

Jakarta Transportation Dept is going to conduct socialization about implementation of Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) for one year.

"We'll do ERP socialization for one year because two-wheeled vehicles prohibited passing through Jalan Sudirman-Thamrin and Jalan HR Rasuna Said," said Head of Jakarta Transportation Dept, Andri Yansyah, Thursday (2/25).
According to him, socialization has begun to do in social media and website: www.erp.jakarta.go.id. Its form will be done through videotron in the streets of Jakarta.
ERP Implementation is Based on Bylaw"That means we start from the beginning, by predicting the auction process to take four months, the construction within 8-10 months, so there is more than one year we can do socialization," he stated.
He assessed, such streets already have adequate transportation facility. One of them is Transjakarta headway every three minutes.
"Whole street has been sterile when ERP is applied. It means we are going to try to change the pattern of society to public transport, we prepare adequate transport," he finished.
