Channel Along Jelambar-Rawa Buaya will Be Repaired

Water channel that is located Jelambar, Grogol Petamburan (gropet) Sub-district and Rawa Buaya, Cengkareng Sub-district will be repaired in the near future. This is because water in the channel often inundating two regions in such sub-district during rain.

"I see many buildings standing on the channel thus water does not flow smoothly," expressed Imron, Head of West Jakarta Water Management Sub-dept, Thursday (2/25).

His sub-dept also intends to repair another channel in Rawa Buaya, Gropet Sub-district, especially connecting channel at Jalan Raya Rawa Buaya towards Mookevarts River that has not been normalized.

He added that normalization was listed in the work program using 2016 budget.

"Normalization would be auctioned first. If the project is realized, puddle problem will be completed," he finished.
