Post is established to accommodate flood victims.
“It is just to anticipate flood. Last year, we have to face flood up to two weeks,” said Pedro (48), local resident, Friday (2/26).
Basuki Explains City Flood HandlingHe explained that the post is established based on resident’s initiative. Residents would open another post if needed.
“Solution to overcome flood in this area is demolish channel pipe at Nusantara Bonded Zone (KBN) Cakung, East Jakarta. Then construct general channel to ease teh flow,” he explained.
