Jakarta Dept. of Transportation applies traffic engineering around Kalijodo area. It is aimed to smooth the building demolishment.
I suggest the road users to use alternative roads and avoid Kalijodo area
Road closure is applied for Jalan Bandengan Utara starting from Jalan Jembatan Tiga, Jalan Jembatan Dua, up to Jalan Teluk Gong or precisely on Jalan Kampung Gusti and Jalan B Teluk Gong crossroad.
The closure was started since 5 AM up to demolishment process is done.
6,000 Joint Personnel Sent to KalijodoThen traffic from west or Jalan Teluk Gong Raya towards east or Jalan Bandengan Utara is diverted to Jalan Kapuk Muara.
Traffic from east or Jalan Bandengan Utara towards west or Jalan Teluk Gong Raya is diverted through Jalan Jembatan Tiga and Jalan Jembatan Dua. Traffic from west or Pesing is diverted through Jalan Kampung Gusti or turns in front of Bakmi Sentosa.
Jakarta Head Dept. of Transportation, Andri Yansyah, appealed the road users to avoid those roads.
“I suggest the road users to use alternative roads and avoid Kalijodo area,” he said, Monday (2/29).
