Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama appreciates PPSU performance in urban village all over Jakarta. This is because they are able to reduce puddle potential.

"I am thankful to PPSU officer who has helped us in reducing puddle," he expressed, at City Hall, Tuesday (3/1).

He disclosed, they were formed in May 2015 and active in June 2015. But they have shown good progress. "This has not been a single year you know," he exclaimed.

He admitted, several channels are not yet connected. Water Management Dept is currently making waterway at several points. One of them is in Matraman, Gunung Sahari, and Cengkareng areas.

"Around 1,086 channels have not been connected. But now we are focused on waterway construction," he stated.
