Flood, 93 Residents in Kembangan Utara Evacuated

Rain that flushed since Monday (2/29) night until Tuesday (3/1) dawn has caused overflowing waters of Angke River that pass Kembangan Utara Urban Village, Kembangan Sub-district, West Jakarta. The water inundates citizen residential, precisely at RW 01, 02 and 04, with water level up to 70-90 cm.

42 households have been evacuated to refugee cam

"42 households have been evacuated to refugee camp," said Head of Kembangan Sub-district, Agus Ramdani, Tuesday (3/1). 

He explains, in RT 01/02 on Jalan Kembangan Utara, the number of refugees in SDN Kembangan Utara 01/02 is reaching 20 households or 45 people. While in Kampung Pondok Cabe, RT 07/01 Kembangan Utara, its number of refugees in Nurul Muslimin Mushola is 15 households or 33 people. 

Cengkareng Resident Warned to Stay Alert on Floods

"Flood also inundates another residential in Kampung Salo RT 011/04 Kembangan Utara with 7 households or 15 people. They have been evacuated in Riyadus Saadah Mushola," he told.

He explains, overflowing water is due to unfinished sheet pile as long as 50 meters. Besides that, related unit has sent aid in form of food and medical team to the field.
