Hundreds of SDN Duren Sawit 02 Pagi student held mass communal work, Wednesday (3/2). The effort was done also to hunt wiggler as anticipation of dengue fever spread.

Rukmini, school’s headmaster, said communal work is done everyday during break time. Previously, the effort was held only in Friday morning. After one of her students died because of dengue fever, then the effort is held everyday.

"We held communal work and anti dengue fever campaign (PSN) everyday during break time", she said, Wednesday (3/2).

Communal work targets are cleaning trash bin, school yard, toilet, flower pot, and so on. After that, the students must clean their hand and foot with soap.

Two weeks ago, one of SDN Duren Sawit 02 students passed away because of dengue fever.
