Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama and Jakarta Police chief Insp. Gen. Tito Karnavian launched City Police parking building construction, Wednesday (3/2).

We’ll support city police because they are part of Jakarta

Basuki said Jakarta Provincial Government is ready to support city police in constructing infrastructure.

“We’ll support city police because they are part of Jakarta,” he said, Wednesday (3/2).

Meanwhile, Tito admitted the construction has been discussed three months ago. The 32,000 meter square building is targeted to finish in one year.

“Thank you Mr. Governor for this fast process after we discussed three months ago,” he stated.

He hoped new parking building would change city police building scenery since present’s parking lot is not good looking and prone to theft.

“We can not differ where is visitor, police, terrorist. Present’s parking lot is not good,” he closed.
