Eight Students in Malaka Sari Suffer from Dengue

Although the anti-mosquito campaign (PSN) is conducted intensively, but there are still found eight students suffering from dengue fever in SDN Malaka Sari 04 and 14 Pagi.

We're routinely conducting PSN for 30 minutes every Monday and Friday morning

Principal of SDN Malaka Sari 14, Lilis Lisnawati disclosed, from eight students, six out of them are from SDN Malaka Sari 14 Pagi and two others are from SDN Malaka Sari 04 Pagi. Those are positive for dengue.

"We're routinely conducting PSN for 30 minutes every Monday and Friday morning. But we still find dengue in school. But they are not necessarily exposed to the virus in school," she expressed, Wednesday (3/2).

Aside that, wiggler was not detected in school when the wiggler hunter (jumantik) and puskesmas officer came.

In both schools, there are 20 Jumantik officers. They have been trained and routinely handle mosquito larvae.
