Pedicab controlling operation was held by Johar Baru Sub-district, Thursday (3/3). As many as seven pedicabs were controlled by local Satpol PP personnel in Tanah Tinggi Urban Village, Johar Baru, Central Jakarta.

Those pedicabs were taken to Satpol PP warehouse in Cakung

Yassin Pasaribu, Johar Baru Sub-district Vice, admitted the effort is based on Bylaw No. 8/2007 about public order.

“Those pedicabs were taken to Satpol PP warehouse in Cakung,” he said.

Previously, his side had appealed the pedicab drivers to look for another job, but they refused.

“We deployed 10 personnel from urban village and sub-district,” he added.
