The office of Taman Sari Regional Tax Service Unit (UPPD), West Jakarta will open tax service on Saturday (3/5). It aims to give opportunity the taxpayer to pay the urban and rural land and building tax (PBB-P2).

"Tax service is opened to maximize local tax revenues. As planned, Bank DKI will also open a similar service for receiving the deposit payment of taxes from citizens who want to file a tax payment," said Andri Kunarso, Head of Taman Sari UPPD, Thursday (3/3)."

His side also has socialized Governor Regulation No. 134/2015 related to the reduction and elimination of tax principal administration fines for PBB-P2 period 1993-2012. The socialization is in form of banners at urban village and sub-district offices, streets and through urban village heads, as well as RT/RW chairmen.

"Until now, the tax receivables in period 1993 to 2012 that have not been deposited into the local treasury is roughly Rp 20 billion, with the number of 67,914 sheets of Income Tax Payable (SPPT)," he said.
