The number of tourists visiting the islands in Seribu Islands is still low. This is because of bad weather and rainy season which has been happening since the past months.

"Indeed the visitor number is decreasing. If it is compared to the last two weeks, its number is slightly higher last Sunday," said Marihot Marulitua Sirait, Head of Seribu Islands Transportation Sub-dept, Monday (3/7).

Therefore, his side began to tighten sailing permit towards ship captain or its owner.

"Last week, we had cancelled the ship departure due to high wave and dangerous," he explained.

Based on the data of Seribu Islands Transportation Sub-dept, at the end of last week, the number of tourists visiting Pramuka Island was 333 people, 110 people in Untung Jawa Island, 52 people in Lancang Island, 850 people in Pari Island and 896 people in Tidung Island.
