5,000 Visitors Flocked Planetarium to Witness Total Eclipse

Total eclipse in Jakarta is already done. An event held in Planetarium, Central Jakarta has attracted thousands of visitor.

It occurred at 7.21 AM in Jakarta. Only one minute

Sri Yuni, Planetarium UPT Head, admitted that solar eclipse in Jakarta occurred partially. Total eclipse occurred in eastern Indonesia such as Palu, Ternate, Belitung, Palembang, and etc.

“It occurred at 7.21 AM in Jakarta. Only one minute,” she said, Wednesday (3/9).

Planetarium to Distribute Eyeglasses For Free

She predicted that visitors flocked Planetarium were 5,000 people. Eclipse glasses prepared by management were also run out.

“Our prediction about 5,000 people flocked this place. Solar eclipse would end at 8.30 AM,” she closed.
