600 Officers to Dismantle Buildings in Kalibaru

600 joint personnel of Satpol PP, police, army, urban village, sub-district and other related unit did a joint ceremony in the courtyard of Ciracas Sector Police Headquarter, East Jakarta, Saturday (3/12). This is preparation for dismantling illegal building on Kalibaru Riverbank, RW 01 and 07, Tengah Urban Village, Kramat Jati. 

Of the 87 buildings, only 37 of them were been dismantled. The rest 50 buildings will be dismantled forcibly

Deputy Mayor of East Jakarta, Husein Murad disclosed his side will dismantle 50 buildings on Kalibaru Riverbank. Before that, warning letter and dismantling warrant had been sent to the owner.

"Of the 87 buildings, only 37 of them were been dismantled. The rest 50 buildings will be dismantled forcibly," he expressed.

Chief of East Jakarta Metro Resort Police, Sr, Comr. Mohammad Agung Budijono stated 600 joint personnel have been prepared to smoothen the dismantling. 

Kapolres Metro Jakarta Timur, Kombes Pol Mohammad Agung Budijono mengatakan, untuk pengamanan pembongkaran melibatkan 600 petugas gabungan. Terdiri dari unsur kepolisian, TNI, Satpol PP, kelurahan, kecamatan dan sejumlah unit terkait lainnya.

"We also already have agreement from building owner. Hopefully, it could run well," he closed.
