Basuki Allows Metromini Drivers to Protest

Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama allows metromini drivers to conduct strike today. In fact, if the strike goes anarchy, he will report to police.

It’s good for us if they go on strike forever

“It’s good for us if they go on strike forever,” he said, Tuesday (3/15).

He offers metromini drivers to join with Transjakarta. They will be paid twice from province minimum wage for single bus and 3.5 times for articulated bus.

Metromini and Transjakarta Integration Ripened

“We need five drivers for one bus,” he added.

His side also anticipating chaotic strike by reporting them to police.

“I have instructed Satpol PP to give them to police,” he closed.
