Basuki Avoids Taxi Company from Bankruptcy

Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama does not want taxi company ends in bankruptcy because of app-based public transport existence.

“We can not let illegal taxi, or public transport operates without paying tax,” he said, Tuesday (3/15).

Basuki appeals app-based public transport to register and pay tax to get license of operation legally.

Not Pay Taxes, Online Transport Fare is Cheaper

“No need to change from yellow to black plate number. But please attach stickers as the identity,” he added.

He suggested they register for rental car company. With this effort, they must pay workers, revenue tax, vehicle maintenance, and so on.

“These taxis are cheaper because they never pay tax,” he closed.
