8 Boat Documents Belong to Banten Fisherman Seized

Seribu Islands Regency Administration seized eight boat documents belongs to fishermen from Banten who were caught fishing in Kotok Kecil Island waters, Panggang Island Urban Village, North Seribu Islands.

We seized the documents for further process. If they (fishermen) want to redeem it, just come to regency office. We will give them guidance

Regent of Seribu Islands, Budi Utomo explains, fishermen did not have complete document.

"We seized the documents for further process. If they (fishermen) want to redeem it, just come to regency office. We will give them guidance," he expressed, Tuesday (3/15) after conducting monitoring island along with Seribu Islands Marine, Agriculture and Food Security Sub-dept.

Additionally, it is done because they have violated a fishing zone.This becomes the basis of justice for indigenous people of Seribu Islands.

"This is done to give deterrent effect," he stressed.
