North Jakarta Sub-dept. of Public Works for Water Management freelancers cleaned mud on Jalan Jembatan Tiga Raya water channel, Penjaringan.
Manhole disturbed water flows due to many garbage under it
Hasan (46), one of freelancers, admitted the effort has been started since three days ago. Besides cleaning mud, they also demolish manhole owned by one of companies around the channel.
“Manhole disturbed water flows due to many garbage under it. So we have to demolish it,” he said, Tuesday (3/15).
Channel on Jalan Enggano Raya Cleaned from MudAbdul Khalit, Penjaringan Sub-district Head, admitted that the effort is aimed to normalize water channel to avoid puddle when rain pours.
“Channel functions well, but mud often disturbed the flow,” he stated.
