West Jakarta Immigration Office Class 1 is about to form Foreigner Monitoring Team (Timpora). Team which is formed together with West Jakarta Administration is aimed to monitor illegal foreigners.

They are not forbidden to work here, but we have to monitor them

“We invite West Jakarta Mayor to sign the team establishment on Thursday (3/17),” said Pondang Tambunan, office head, Tuesday (3/15).

According to him, the number of foreigners in West Jakarta is quite many. Mostly of them worm at entertainment places, health clinics, teachers and so on.

“They are not forbidden to work here, but we have to monitor them,” he added.

West Jakarta Mayor, Anas Effendi, admitted delighted with team establishment. He hoped team would be able to monitor foreigners well.

“Foreigners must be monitored to prevent unwanted things,” he stated.
