Urine Test for Regional Heads Get Support from Basuki

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama is supporting the plan of the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) to hold an urine test for the regional head periodically.

He acknowledged, he does not afraid with drug test. "I think this urine test is good. Why be afraid," he expressed, at City Hall, Wednesday (3/16).

The city administration has also worked with BNN to hold periodic urine test. "We have worked with BNN to smoothen its implementation. All must undergo the test," he said.

According to him, it is in accordance with the request of the President, Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo, thus the regional head could contribute to combat drugs circulation in their respective areas. "I think this is compliance with president's request, we should be all-out fight against drugs," he stressed.

Previously, BNN Head, Budi Waseso said that there were some officials and headmen consume drugs. Hence, the BNN does not need to report it to the president and the governor to secure them.
