46 Units of Marunda Rented Flats Threatened for Red-Sealing

The dweller of 46 units flat in Marunda rented flat, Cilincing, North Jakarta, could be expelled from their house. It is because the dwellers were unble to show the legal ownership document. At this moment, the units are white-sealed until the dwellers get the documents.

We give them time to deny our assumption by giving the ownership document, or the red-sealed will be applied by the end of this month

"The dwellers are spread in three blocks, namely Blok Bandeng by 6 units, Blok Pari by 16 units, and Blok Bawal by 24 units," said Marhayadi, Head Unit of Rented Flat Management Region I for Jakarta Dept. of Public Housing and Government's Building, Wednesday (4/16).

Regarding the white-sealed, Maharyadi explained that there is indication of units have been rented to others or sold.

59 Marunda Flat Units Vacated

"We give them time to deny our assumption by giving the ownership document, or the red-sealed will be applied by the end of this month," he added.

Previously, there were 59 unit had been sealed. At this moment, the other 20 units have been given to other owners or former owners who proposed to get back the units.

Marhayadi admitted, there are only 8 person out of 20 units who already signed the new lease document. Those eight person are, three from Block 1 cluster B, two from Block 2 cluster B, and three from Block 5 cluster B.
