Jokowi: Manggarai Terminal will Be Model for Other Terminals

Jakarta Governor Joko ‘Jokowi’ Widodo inaugurated the revitalization of Manggarai Terminal, South Jakarta, Wednesday (4/16). The terminal that has full facilities and connected with TransJakarta bus stops will be a model for the revitalization of other terminals in the capital city.

Later, all will be connected between Manggarai Terminal, Manggarai Station, and TransJakarta Manggarai Bus S top

“Its prototype resembles Manggarai Terminal that is clean and has modern concept and full facilities like escalators if it was two-story,” he stated.

Moreover, Jokowi stressed that this revitalization effort must be accompanied with public’s behavior in utilizing the terminal. “People must watch out for their behavior by maintaining cleanliness and also taking public transport inside the terminal which must be campaigned considering this terminal is this good,” he expressed.

Not Inaugurated Yet, Manggarai Terminal Asphalt Already Damaged

According to Jokowi, Manggarai Terminal now has integrated with Manggarai Station, even though it is not yet directly connected. “We only need to continue the construction. Later, all will be connected between Manggarai Terminal, Manggarai Station, and TransJakarta Manggarai Bus S top,” he told.
