Immigration Service Closed, Mayor of East Jakarta Disappointed

Mayor of East Jakarta, Bambang Musyawardana, is disappointed with closure of immigration service outlet, which was held in the parking lot of his office. This is because, the public interest against this service is fairly high, especially the making and renewal of passport service, which reached 400 applicants within two months.

To support such service, his party has prepared a special place in the office of One-Stop Integrated Service (PTSP). Even the free internet is ready to be installed to connect with Immigration general director.

East Jakarta Public Section Head, Budi Awaludin added such closure is from direction of immigration general director. This is because the service should certainly not be allowed to open outside the office. This service in the mayor's office was the first time in Indonesia and enthused by public.

"It has been opening since December 22, 2015 until February 26, 2016. As many as 400 people have been served here," he closed.
