For Safety, Police Ask Online Ojek Take Off Attribute

For the sake of safety, police stop online app-based ojek (motorcycle taxis) who still operate around Medan Merdeka, Central Jakarta.

Relaying on Beritajakarta.com's data, the demonstrator who are dominated by public transport crew have started crossing into Jalan Medan Merdeka towards Moans. As a result, traffic in front of Jakarta Governor office is reportedly bogged down.

Thus far, in the field, the police still ask some online ojek such as Gojek and Grab Bike to take off their attribute to avoid anarchy action.

"Sir, just take off your helmet and keep it. This is for your safety and passenger," said Adj. Sir. Joko, one of police while stopping online ojek, Tuesday (3/22).

Meanwhile, security at City Hall is tightened. There are seen two Barracuda armored vehicles on the yard of City Hall. Besides police, army and Satpol PP are also alerted in the field.
