Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama would use developers’ obligation to develop poultry slaughtering house. It is done as one of ways preventing slaughtering house at settlement which led to bird flu spread.

According to him, poultry relocation is difficult to run since no enough space.

Basuki continued that Bylaw No. 4/2007 about Poultry Handling, Keeping, and Distribution prevents poultry business to be held at settlement, including slaughtering house.
