Online Ojek Drivers Conduct Sweeping Along Jalan Pemuda

Tens of online ojek drivers, conduct a sweeping action along Jalan Raya Pemuda, in front of Negeri Jakarta University (UNJ), Rawamangun, East Jakarta, Tuesday (3/22). The target is online app-based transport.

We just urge our friends not to pass the demonstration site

Those stop and urge the passing online ojek drivers not to pass the demonstration sites, ranging from DPR/MPR building, Jakarta City Hall, Jakarta DPRD, Communication and Informatic Ministry, etc. It is done to avoid victim of a beating from the demonstrators.

Marwan, (32), an online ojek driver said, sweeping is done for the safety of fellow online ojek that is picking up passengers.

"We just urge our friends not to pass the demonstration site. And its passengers asked to move to other ojek. This is for the safety of online ojek," he explained, Tuesday (3/22).

Unfortunately, some prefer to hunt the passing public minivan because they were upset because their friends in South Jakarta beaten by demonstrators.

After doing sweeping in front of UNJ, 50 online ojek drivers then go to Jalan Pramuka, Jalan Salemba until City Hall.
